Jessie Tisdale is an accomplished concert soloist, recitalist and opera singer based in the Los Angeles area. She has performed as the soprano soloist in numerous concert works including Handel's Messiah, J.S. Bach's Magnificat, Schubert's Mass in G , Mendelssohn's Elijah and Psalm 42, Saint-Saëns' Christmas Oratorio, Rutter's Magnificat and Requiem, Mozart's Coronation Mass and Orff's Carmina Burana.
She has also appeared in such roles as Marie in La Fille du Régiment, Miss Wordsworth in Albert Herring, Nuria in Ainadamar, Mabel in Pirates of Penzance and Papagena in Die Zauberflöte. In 2015, she was chosen to be a U.S. finalist in the 7th Annual International Opera Competition and also performed that year as a Festival Artist with the Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre where she created the role of Lucia in the world premiere of Randall Shinn's Rose In Flames. In 2017, she was named as a Recommended Artist at the Beverly Hills National Auditions.
Jessie has covered a number of operatic roles as well, most notably the roles of Amore in Orfeo ed Euridice and Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro with Arizona Opera and Julie Jordan in Carousel with Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre.
She holds a Bachelors degree from Pepperdine University and a Masters degree in Opera Performance from Arizona State University.
